Mt. Fuji 5th Station
If weather conditions allow, begin with a visit to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Take in the stunning views from this elevation, explore the area, and take photos. If the weather isn't suitable, you can spend more time at other locations.
Lake Kawaguchiko
Proceed to Lake Kawaguchiko, where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the lakeside with Mt. Fuji as a backdrop. This is one of the most popular spots for photographing Mt. Fuji, especially when it’s reflected in the water.
Kachi Kachi Ropeway
Next, take a ride on the Kachi Kachi Ropeway. Enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area from the observation deck. This is a great spot to capture some more photos and experience the beauty of the region from above.
Enjoy a quick lunch near Lake Kawaguchiko. There are various local eateries where you can sample Japanese cuisine.
Oshino Hakkai
Small village in a scenic setting with 8 ponds, views of Mt. Fuji & vendors of food & souvenirs.
Oishi park
Oishi Park on the north shore of Kawaguchiko is a park with a superb view of lake and Mt.Fuji at once.
Arakurayama Sengen shrine pagoda
Iconic pagoda on a hilltop facing Mt. Fuji in Arakurayama Sengen Park, reached via 398 steps.
Return to Tokyo Time:
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM You’ll arrive back in the city between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
